Today we went to Quarry Lakes. We rode our bikes there and met some friends from church. It was a perfect day for hanging out at the lake. This place is really nice, a lake right in the middle of our city and you feel like your are far away at a lake. It has a nice beach area and shallow swimming area for even the youngest little ones to play safely in the water. The kids could play there forever in the sand and water.
We ended the day with a back yard hotdog and marshmellow roast! Jordan invited the youth from church over to roast marshmellows and make smores. So before they came I had the younger kids roast there own hot dogs for dinner!
